Our History
APJ was founded in 2002 by John and Paul but the Sampson family legacy in the meat business began in New Zealand three generations ago. Our New Zealand heritage brings with it extensive experience expanding beyond our current business. Starting in the 1940’s, our family resume includes farming; livestock, meat and wool buying; packing and processing plant management; machinery sales; butchering and food exports. APJ Meats is the culmination of over 100 years of dedication to the meat industry.
